“Эне Үйү” (“Mother’s Home”) in Bishkek marks a significant step toward the foundation’s major mission: a Central Asia without orphans.
“Эне Үйү is a space where women receive a helping hand and people believe in them. Where mothers are not left alone, and children get the chance to grow up surrounded by love and care,” foundation representatives note.
Mother’s Home is an initiative by Kazakhstani entrepreneurs that has been successfully implemented for 12 years. During this time, 20 such homes have opened across 18 cities in Kazakhstan. 8,702 babies have passed through Mother’s Homes, the majority of whom could have become orphans.
Expanding the project’s reach, the Foundation established an international division – Mother’s Home International Foundation. In 2024, the first international home opened in Kyiv, while Uzbekistan now operates 5 Ona Uyi centers with support from local entrepreneurs and the government. Two additional centers are planned to open soon.
Future plans include launching projects in other countries: Turkey, Malaysia, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Zimbabwe. At the heart of this mission lies the belief that every child deserves a family, and every mother deserves support during difficult times.
